Many people wonder; "Do they need a group to play?" NO! You can come with just one person, or 2 or 3, whatever you want. So how does that work? Easy!
When you come in, you will fill out one of our Waivers, and at the top of the waiver, you well see we have a place for you to circle your level of experience. Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. At Gatsplat, we want to make sure everyone has fun, and beginner players don't get blown up by better players. When you come in, we will put a different color wrist band on you depending on what level of player you are. Then we call our games by level of experience, so beginners will only play against other beginners.
Are you an advanced Tourney Player?? No problem, we'll call advanced games, and you will love sliding on our Turf! I'm sure we'll have some good competetors and a challange for you!
We are also very aware that a 9 year old beginner should not be playing with a 22 year old beginner. So we also break down our groups by age bracket. And now that we have the new 50 Caliber Guns, we also keep the kids using the smaller guns separated from the ones using the larger ones. All this assures that when you go out on the field, whether you have one, two, or 15 people in your group, you will always be playing games that are fair and balanced.
Now we will make special exceptions for parents of kids. So for example, if you have a 10 year old and you want to play when he does, we will let parents join the games with the smaller kids. After all.. they are normally just slower and bigger targets! And what kid doesn't want the chance to shoot their dad!
